An elegant English Edwardian ring crafted in 18ct yellow gold, set with three natural cabochon-cut opals. The central opal measures approximately 5.80 × 4.32 mm, flanked by two smaller opals measuring approximately 4.24 × 2.94 mm each. The opals are accented by old-cut diamonds of approximately 1.60 mm in diameter, adding a delicate sparkle to the design.
The finely pierced gallery and refined craftsmanship are characteristic of high-quality English jewellery from the Edwardian period. The ring is in good overall condition and bears an engraved monogram, "H.W.", to the inside of the shank.
Hallmarks: English hallmarks for 18ct gold, comprising the crown mark, the Birmingham assay office anchor, date letter "E" (1904), and a maker's mark believed to read L&L.
